First visit and I will certainly be back , I had a starter , Red Stripe Beer Jerk Chicken Wings the sauce and wings were delicious . I then had the Jerk chicken and chips , the photo doesn't do it justice as I had already eaten a fair bit . Plate and portions are well above average . Give the place a wee try

Stumbled upon it and what a treat! Made with love and care and you can definitely tell. Authentic drinks to try in a verity of flavors and a combination of the smooth pure coffee was amazing. Tried some of the starters and the mains and they are beautiful, full of flavor and the right balance of spice, would definitely recommend them. The pepper mash goat soup was incredible and the partner said he could eat it everyday for breakfast and lunch

Another great evening meal, Brina's never fails to deliver. The two tacos were a great way to start the meal, rollowed by our usual mains of jerk chicken and curried goat. The meal was finished off perfectly with a lovely Jamaican bread pudding. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as always. We won't be leaving it as long between visits, that's for sure.

First visit and we would definitely go back. We had very generous prawn tacos with mango and tamarind sauce for starters, so good! Our mains were the Jam beefburger and the chicken curry with rice. Very delicious food and Brina left the kitchen to personally ask each table if they were enjoying the food. Very friendly and we thought it was very good value for money because the quality of the meal was so good. Nice decor, clean and comfortable with a cool soundtrack.

First time trying Brina’s since she moved locations. We visited the old location and the food was incredible. The new restaurant is looking beautiful. Busy with takeaway orders and also sit in but there’s extra seating upstairs now. Staff were friendly and attentive. They interacted well with customers who were waiting on takeaway, update them on how long the food would be. We were served quickly. Food was absolutely unreal. Tried the bread pudding and it was the best dessert I’ve ever had. Brina came up to help the staff move tables to make space for a larger group and chatted to us to ask how we were doing and she hoped he enjoyed the food. She genuinely cares about her food and customer experience. This was the case in her old location and is the case here too. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. I’ll be thinking about that bread pudding for weeks!

The food was absolutely amazing! Authenticity at it's best. The jerked pork and chicken were exactly like back home in Jamaica. Rice and peas was lovely. I don't even know where to begin about the "Run a boat" Seafood Boil, it was finger licking good! My daughter is a picky eater, and she enjoyed every bit of her jerked Beef Burger, so much so that she asked for another one to take home, and she ate through the Seafood Boil like she was in a competition. The pricing is reasonable. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and service was excellent , meal is prepared to order so there is a bit of wait after ordering, however, with the soothing ambience, the wait didn't appear to be as such. I will definitely be returning. And this is coming from a Jamaican. Nostalgia! Brina is a lovely woman, knows how to please her customers. She is an excellent chef and owner!

Tucked away in a charming cobbled street in the heart of Falkirk, Brina's Jamaican Kitchen is more than just a restaurant; it is an experience..... A labour of love. The restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance, accentuated by large windows and tasteful decor, creates a serene experience. The fresh flowers adorning the tables add a touch of elegance, making the space feel welcoming and cared for. The attention to detail extends beyond the decor - the clean and well-maintained restroom and baby changing facilities demonstrate a commitment to providing a comfortable experience for all guests. The food, of course, is the star of the show. We were offered complementary cassava crisps while we waited on our meal – a great appetiser and great way to warm up our jaws in preparation for our meal. The beetroot salad was a refreshing starter, with the earthy sweetness of the beetroot perfectly balanced by the tangy goat's cheese. For the main course, I had the rich and flavourful goat curry (which I highly recommend), paired with the legendary house chips and the colourful homemade slaw salad. For dessert, I indulged in the warm and comforting cinnamon bread pudding, topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. A perfect way to end the delicious lunching experience. The exceptional customer service was the cherry on the cake. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile to ensure that we were taken care of. Subrina's passion for Jamaican cuisine is evident in every dish, and her dedication to creating authentic and delicious food, presented with impeccable style, is a testament to her professionalism. Her food is the equivalent of a warm hug, and her restaurant offers excellent value for money, making it well worth the trip from Edinburgh. Asante sana for taking care of us!

Great food, music and service. You can’t go wrong! We tried the curry, jerk, salt fish and Ackee, the plantain, rice and peas, bammys and festivals. We ordered so much because it was delicious. Absolutely recommend going here.
